What's on my mind?!? THIS ^^^ The 12th of February will commence one of my favorites times of the year: New York Fashion Week. This twice-a-year affaire is arguably one of the most important events NYC puts on because of gigantic revenues and celebrations citywide. This is a make it or break it time for new fashion designers and also a chance for older ones to gain a moment in the spotlight. In our modern world, fashion week is not just about the fashion houses presenting, but it has also become a corporate player with international companies in the beauty, food and electronic industries contributing to the buzz. With the increased breath of industries involved, more people from various backgrounds are now invited to attend the shows and there is more social media coverage then ever before! Below are some of the Instagram accounts that I will be following from Austin to get the scoop from NYC this week. Be sure to follow me on Instagram at @kneedeepinchic too!
This collection embraces all things organic and pure. With dreamy pastels, soft rose golds and daring designs, it is a modern twist on classic spring trends. The design team took bold steps in launching new silhouettes, like the Billie ear climber (#2), to take the classic Kendra girl out of her comfort zone and into an 'Avant Garden', filled with unexpected treasures and delights. Everything in this collection is executed to perfection: the new stones (kyocera opal and blue lace agate), graphic designs (title above) and promotional video are all amazing and worth checking out on their website.
#1 Susanna Link Bracelet in Rose Gold Drusy. #2 Billie Ear Climbers in Rose Gold. #3 Jo Bar Stud Earring Set in Mixed Metal. #4 Isla Necklace in White Kyocera Opal. #5 Sterling Statement Earrings in White Iridescent. #6 Jill Statement Necklace in Iridescent Silver. #7 Abra Double Band Ring in Rose Gold.
I am all about natural imagery this week. The lines, colors and textures of the earths creations are so appealing to me. This color combination of cobalt and peach caught my eye- romantic but fresh. A nice break from all the Valentine pinks and reds don't you think?
This spring marble has crept from our kitchens and into our closets. Whether it's marble-printed products, like Stella McCartney's collection with Adidas or my laptop skin (above), this print is popping up everywhere and is oozing with sophistication. Recently I have been noticing marble stone, faux or real, in jewelry and have been loving it. In particular, a London based designer called Eshvi that is incredibly unique and is a new find for me. You can see 3 of my favorite pieces from their collection on sale now in the 2nd row and shop the rest of their collections here. Below is a selection of the best marble jewelry on the market and in a variety of different price points. Shop them now and be an early adopter of the marble jewerly trend with me.

I've recently been loving monochromatic sapphire blue outfits. I just want to dress head to toe in shades of this gorgeous color. Must invest.
I hardly ever wear prints, but if I do it's always a simple stripe, leopard or polka dot. Emphasis on the simple. It seems like printed clothing knocks me back about 4 years and I appear 16 years old? Ladies...prints= a fountain of youth. This look is the perfect weekend ensemble for all of your chicest activities: brunching, shopping and... umm brunching again. Warm, relaxed and fresh for spring. My rule with white jeans when out of season is to wear them with a top that also has white in it too and embrace the 'winter whites' look. Forget the labor day white rule and keep them in your closet all year round.
